Velda has been in the financial services field her entire career with the last 25 years concentrated in financial planning and investments. She gained a lot experience while employed nine years at a national bank as an investment officer working in the brokerage field. She earned her CFP® designation in 2000 and previously held the NASD series 6, 63 and 7 along with having an insurance license and a real estate license for years. She is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). She served on the Regional Board for NAPFA in the capacity as Vice President and President. During this time, she represented the region as Chair on the National Board. She is a NAPFA Registered Financial Advisor and is required to get 60 hours of continuing education every two years as part of NAPFA’s requirement; which is double the amount required by the CFP® board of standards. During the turbulent market of 2008-2009 Velda logged over 150 hours of continuing education. Velda wrote the comprehensive plan that she frequently delivers to the Practice Foundation section during conferences for NAPFA. Practice Foundation is a training ground for people entering the financial planning field.
In addition to her membership with NAPFA, Velda belongs to Gadsden Rotary Club where she served as President, First Friday Forum, and Women Executive Networking. She served as Chair of the Leading Edge Institute for the Northeast Alabama area. This organization helps to develop the future ‘female’ leaders of Alabama.
Velda has served for several years as a volunteer for Kiplinger Magazine on their ‘Jump Start Your Retirement’ series. She has been quoted in several magazines and has been a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Alabama on financial planning topics. She is a frequent speaker for many civic clubs and has conducted many workshops over her career on the subject of financial planning.
Velda believes that ‘the devil is in the detail’ and in the financial services industry you cannot be ‘too careful’. She is dedicated to education and believes that staying abreast of new laws, regulations and rules is the backbone of what enables an advisor to meet a client’s needs.
Velda is a graduate of the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado and holds a BS in Human and Environmental Sciences from the University of Alabama.

Angela joined Eugenias Advisory Group in 2015 and is an invaluable asset to the team. She is a meticulous and dedicated worker with an outstanding attitude. Angela manages our bookkeeping division, working directly with the CEO and the CPA(s). Angela is also part of the administrative and compliance team, works with the staff, and directly with clients when needed.
Angela graduated from the Tyler School of Business with a certification in Computer Accounting and has worked in the accounting and bookkeeping fields for the past 30 years.

If she is not on a tractor, you will probably find her playing with her grandchildren. Angela and her husband have been blessed with 2 sons, 1 daughter, 2 daughters who were “heart” picked by their sons, and 4 of the greatest grand babies ever.
